When AMT launched 18 years ago, our earliest customers were primarily in the automotive industry, the largest automation market at that time. Automotive is still the largest industry sector in the automation business, and remains a key focus for AMT. But in the intervening years, we have consistently evolved by applying expertise gained in automotive applications to other industries and markets. Engineering spray paint robots for Chevrolet transitioned into spraying specialized coatings on the B1 bomber. Welding automotive strut assemblies for Delco evolved into welding agricultural components for CAT, and so on.
