Craig Salvalaggio to Speak at ATX West

Craig Salvalaggio will speak at the 2019 ATX West Chief Robotics Officer Summit in Anaheim, CA. On February 5th from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM, Salvalaggio will give a talk entitled “Leading the Change: Digital Transformation & the Workforce of the Future,” which will cover the worldwide impact of automation on employees and best practices to positively influence these changes.

Control Engineering Features Craig Salvalaggio in Industrial Safety Discussion

Control Engineering referenced Applied Manufacturing’s Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Craig Salvalaggio, in an article earlier this month that explored the larger and more nuanced implications of industrial safety. When prompted about starting a robotics project, Salvalaggio explained the importance of taking a hard look at internal resources before opting to do the work in-house without the aid of an integrator.

AMT Appoints Director of Controls Group

Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a leading robotic automation engineering and integration company, announced today the appointment of Mark Heringshausen, to Director of Automotive Controls. Mr. Heringshausen brings over 25 years of experience in automation and controls expertise to his new role at AMT.

At AMT Mr. Heringshausen is responsible for the entire Automotive Controls Business which encompasses aMT’s most complex controls projects. He leads the front end planning, project management, engineering execution, process implementation, installation and field support of this complex and demanding segment.
